Recent discussions with some young growers at the Redland Festival a couple weeks ago suggested that the AOS would get more exposure using Facebook. We do have a FB "group" here - https://www.facebook.com/graphicgreg...s/52597049839/

That discussion led me to think that Facebook might be a better place to "hangout" than this forum. It is certainly easier to post photos to and more people will see them, more people will interact and participate. Let's face it, this forum does not have much activity. Today, the most recent post was five days ago. ANd it has been plagued with spam from time to time requiring two moderators who have "policed" it for many years.

We are just <i>thinking</i> about it at this time. What I would hope to do is encourage more of the AOS "experts" to participate in the Facebook group. Many of them are already on FB so that may not be so difficult to do. I would think we would try to migrate all of you there over a period of months and then eventually, close this forum down to just one or two topic areas, and maybe totally after that.

As I said, I have not even mentioned this idea to the AOS leadership yet but wanted to present it to you user first for discussion.
