Are webpages passe?

It's funny that screens on mobile devices are getting smaller and smaller while television screens are getting larger and larger.

I do find that the screen for my home computer is now as large as my first television screen, gradually becoming larger and larger over the years. I do think that after a while the small units will be for quick communication and interaction as harvyd says, but the large screen will never go out of fashion.
