Maybe, if you post something inflammatory, a moderator will take it down, but beyond that, I don't believe posts need moderator approval.

I made three posts yesterday to the Greenhouse section of the forum. When I pressed the post button I got a message that the posts would not be visible until approved by a moderator and now, almost 24 hours later, the posts are still not visible. There was certainly nothing inflamatory in the posts and I have heard nothing from a moderator explaining what happened to my posts.

Are there any moderators actively on this forum?

P.S.
I see that overnight the spammers have registered another 700 usernames.

Hi David, this is you speaking to yourself. I don't know what you are talking about as to having your posts moderated. I suspect that you may be posting from a shared IP number that has been banned for spamming. Email to follow

I have never needed mod approval to post.

Never had that problem even when I was not an AOS member. I would advice contacting an official of the AOS, maybe they can help. If some automatic system has been set to stop spammers from posting and it is effectively stoping traffic that is legitimate I am sure it is a cause of concern since you want legitimate users to be able to post without trouble.

Default Good now.

I have been contacted by the forum Admin. Don't know what the problem was but for now things appear to be working for me. Thanks.
