Walker, I apologize for not responding earlier. I was waiting for someone who perhaps currently grows this species to jump in. I am going to assume that your growing conditions are quite different from mine. Nevertheless, I grew an ornithocephalus (not certain if it was bicornis) on my South Florida balcony under approximately 60% shade cloth. It was mounted on cork and grew happily, blooming on and off for several years. It no doubt received the same culture as all my mounties, warm, watered when dry, brought inside when temps drop below 50F. I would like to grow one again. Best of luck with yours.
