Default cattleya labiata

I recently received a plant of Cattleya labiata from Tropical Orchid Farm in Hawaii. It has two new growths which look very healthy but I am concerned. C. labiata is not supposed to start new growth until late winter or early spring. I'm afraid that the growths will be weak because they will be growing during the darkest months of the year (I'm writing this on November 7th).

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? Anyone with similar experiences?

Thanks,

Michel
