Default Bletia patula growing in the wild

Bletia patula is a relatively common orchid in the northwest part of the island of Puerto Rico.

I love searching for them in the wild. Unfortunately pristine places with large populations of orchids are not easy to find.

Unfortunately orchids in the wild are getting harder and harder to find thanks to our species.
