Hello,
My name is MichaelR and I am a new Member. I bought a white (symbol of purity) Orchid on sale at a grocery store florist. When I bought it there were three blooms. They dropped off and I went back to where I bought it and they said to simply cut of the tip of the stem. This is obviously erroneous information. My orchid stem has'nt done anythng for close to a year now. Actualy it has; the stem from the end is turning light brown and I assume is dying. Perhaps I was supposed to trim the stem below the bloom closest to the leaves? The plant itself is doing wonderful. It has produced new healthy leaves. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
