Section for advertisers

I advertise in Orchids, and periodically have a special offer or release of new plants or other related products. Some of those offerings are quite limited, and I would like to give forum members an opportunity to see if it is of interest.

Even though I see no prohibition of it in the FAQ, I have not posted such announcements here, as I can and do on other forums. (Can I do that here?)

It seems to me that a "vendor announcements" section of the forum would be a good resource for participants while adding value to the advertising dollars spent.
