Hello from Austria

Hi alltogether !

I live in Austria, the heart of Europa.
Winters ( november - march) here might be chilly cold,
so heating in the greenhouse is essential. I have night temperatures in winter of about 12 C (54 F) and by day about 20 C ( 68 F), with sunshine of course they rise much more. From may - sept it is possible to grow tropical orchids outdoors.
Althuogh we have several native orchids here, e.g. Cypripedium calceolus, Ophrys, Orchis, Anacamptis,... I ws always more interested in tropical orchids. especially south american species
