Blc. Golden Tang 'Tropic Yellow'
This is one of my best performers under conditions that would stress most other orchids, maybe what makes it such a good grower is its Brassavola nodosa heritage. It does well even in very hot and dry weather. Its flowers develops a bright yellow color as they age. My best plant abandoned its pot and now is growing quite happily and strong in the side of the pot having roots all over the pot. However a plant mounted on a wood slab has not done too well so it seems to need access to a certain amount of water retentive media to grow to its full potential. This is a photo from a past blooming. Sometimes, for reasons that are unclear, the flowers become crippled and you have an inflorescence that has both good and crippled flowers.

Reason: typo due to those pesky green Orion dancers
