Forum color scheme

The forum looks good, but can someone please consider a way to make new posts be more evident?

I may be getting old, but my eyes aren't THAT bad, and I still have a hard time differentiating the bold brown-on-tan from the regular text appearance.

Part of that may be related to screen resolution and text size, but I'm probably not alone in the use of a big monitor with small text.
